Support Ben-Gurion University of the Negev
Ben-Gurion University Foundation operates to support and promote Ben-Gurion University of the Negev 'BGU' in Israel.
BGU, led by President Daniel Chamovitz, is one of Israel’s leading institutions of higher educational learning. A recognised national and global leader in many fields, including cyber security, desert studies and nanotechnology, it actively encourages multi-disciplinary collaborations with government and industry, and nurtures entrepreneurship and innovation in all its forms. Since 2019, BGU has consistently been included in PitchBook’s top half rankings of 100 undergraduate programmes globally that produce the most VC-backed entrepreneurs.
Ingrained in the DNA of BGU is a strong social conscience. Over a third of students volunteer in one of the world's most developed community action programmes.
Amongst BGU's many milestones, BGU is proud that amongst its supremely talented alumni is the first Bedouin woman to graduate from an Israeli university. Speaking of former students, did you know that one in three of all Israeli engineers graduated from BGU?
