Black Girls Code is shaping a future where the tech world is more inclusive and reflective of diverse voices. We do this by inspiring young coders to spark a passion for tech, educating them with the technical skills needed for success, and launching them into impactful careers where they can realize their full potential.

The Challenge
We’re missing critical voices in the tech industry. Today, less than 2% of science and engineering roles are held by Black women. When Black girls don’t see themselves represented in tech, entire futures are lost—along with their ideas, innovation, and leadership.

Why We're Asking You to Give
Black Girls Code programs equip learners with the skills, confidence, and connections to pursue and thrive in tech fields. Our work to prep the next generation of tech leadership is funded entirely by support from individuals and organizations.

Your Gift’s Impact
Your donation doesn’t just help one girl. It fuels a movement, providing resources, mentorship, and real opportunities that open doors for hundreds of young Black girls who dream of leading and shaping the tech industry. Every dollar you give goes directly to expanding these life-changing programs.

Your support of Black Girls Code will help us broaden our impact in 2025 by:

  • Expanding our reach from 8 priority cities to 12.
  • Serving 10,000 students through virtual and in-person programs.
  • Expanding our Code Along video academy.
  • Offerings to include new topics like entrepreneurship and AI.
  • Opening doors for employment through our workforce development programs.

Let’s make this change together. Donate today.
