Better Together—Alliance to End Homelessness

Every weekend, our team engages with individual(s); provide them with food, hygiene kits, dental kits, first aid kits; and various clothing items, including shoes, bags, and blankets. The purpose of the Better Together is not only to assist homeless people that day, but also to a better understanding of who is homeless and what their needs are so, as a community we can better advocate for the resources necessary to meet those needs.

According to the 2019 Homeless Count in Hillsborough County, on any given night there are at least 1,650 homeless men, women, and children in Tampa-Hillsborough County.  These are people who are sleeping on the streets, behind buildings, in encampments, in cars, emergency shelters and transitional housing.

Every donation, small or large, can have a huge impact on a person's life.
