BetaNYC is committed to strengthening New York City’s public interest technology ecosystem, supporting individuals as they grow into leaders, and empowering communities through digital and data literacy.

Our goal for 2026 is to add 200 new sustaining donors, 50 of them from New York City: 10 per Borough!

As of Nov 24, 2025, here’s how we made an impact!!!

• 8,940 people attend one of our 44 classes.
• We hosted 12 mapping events in ALL five Boroughs: 682 public realm amenities, 2,942 feet of paths, and 49,239 square feet of community space.
• Our Lab addressed 44 research or data assistance requests.
• Our weekly newsletter now has over 5,300 subscribers.
  

We know times are tough, and we are asking those with means to support us. We, too, have been impacted by federal funding cuts and need our community to step in during this important and influential time.
