Become a member

We are a membership based organization and rely on contributions from individuals and organizations who share our commitment to protect, strengthen and expand public health care.

Membership in the Coalition grants you the right to vote at our annual general meeting and run for a position on the board.

If you are interested in making an ongoing, monthly contribution you can do so here.

The Health Coalition will not refuse membership to any individual on the basis of ability to pay. If you wish to become a member but cannot afford the membership fee please contact coordinator@nshealthcoalition.ca. You will not be required to provide any proof of income or asked to discuss your financial situation.

If you wish to become a member or make a donation but do not use a credit card, please contact coordinator@nshealthcoalition.ca for information on how to pay by cheque or cash.

Due to the political nature of our work, we are not a registered charity. We are registered as a not-for-profit society with the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stocks.
