Be a Secret Santa for a Kiwi Child with Mum and/or Dad in Prison This Christmas!
Can You Be a Secret Santa for a Pillars Child This Christmas?
As Aotearoa plans for festive season celebrations, Pillars is preparing to continue supporting Kiwi children who have a Mum and/or Dad in prison.
Kiwi children with parents in prison frequently live in poverty. They are often forced to relocate, and their carer may be struggling to cope. The Pillars Social Work team works to ensure that the children and caregiver are safe, have a roof over their heads and food in their tummies.
Once the family are stable the Pillars mentoring team match each child in the family with a handpicked trained volunteer who will be the askable adult in their life to be a friend, have fun, guide them and keep them safe.
The reality is that Pillars cannot help these children without your support. Will you donate today to support a Pillars child this Christmas and into the New Year?
Pillars is committed to helping every kiwi child become the best person they choose to be in the future.
