Barbarians Stair-a-thon

About Our Team

Known as 'The Bali Bogans' after a few holidays together in Bali, the thirteen of us have stuck together through thick and thin no matter what curve balls life throw's.

Personally and professionally, we have all been impacted by suicide, and whenever possible, provide support to The Barbarians. As friends of Wendy and Pete and their family, we are inspired by their dedication and passion to improve mental health and prevent suicide.

About The Barbarians Stair-a-thon

The Barbarians are at it again! We're climbing the stairs from sunrise to sunset for mental well-being and suicide prevention.

This event will be raising funds to have speakers continue to hold workshops in WA schools, working with young people to change the stigma around expressing their emotions and help to build emotional muscle.  Funds will also go toward men's mental health, with several Bloke's Night and Speak Up, Speak Out events planned this year.

From 6am to 6pm we will have teams running the stairs at Stirling Bridge in East Fremantle (near the Left Bank, opposite the Tradewinds).  One team sets up at the top of every hour for an hour. Check our Facebook page for the list of teams and their timeslots, then come down on the day and support your crew!

Please donate to this very worthy cause - every little bit helps!

Together, as a community, we can move mountains.

Barbarians WA Incorporated trading as Barbarians Group is a registered charity and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
