Hi Friends and Family
In one month (Nov 28 - Dec 1) I am going to embark on the adventure of a lifetime and do the Bali Hope Swimrun. I am so nervous but anyone who knows me, will know I have a passion for the ocean and love helping small communities. This SwimRun is an opportunity to make a difference!
I first saw the environmental devastation (rubbish and water pollution) back in 2019 on my first and only visit to Bali. I swore I would never go back. Well today I am here to tell a different story - I am about to challenge myself and join Southeast Asia’s premier swim-run event and put my body through a gruelling 25.1 kilometre adventure marathon with former world champions and olympians in an effort to contribute to a lasting positive and profound environmental impact.

The 2024 Bali Hope Swimrun is fundraising for two grassroots community projects that will help protect the future of the island community. All funds raised will go directly to The Lembongan Recycling Center and Blue Corner Marine Research. Their work is critical in supporting a community undergoing rapid change.
