As at today, AidHub Foundation's Crisis Food Bank in Bali has filled over 410,000 empty bellies for those suffering from extreme poverty. As a result of the pandemic, Bali's economy has been decimated by more than 85% (AU$840 million per month) and a wave of unemployment and poverty has swept over the island. Fortunately, many Balinese have resources and some financial support from the local government, but for many non Balinese Indonesians there is no support or resources whatsoever.
