As the new school year approaches, we reach out with a heartfelt plea to support the children of our hardworking farm workers. These families, who ensure we have fresh produce daily, often endure low wages and tough conditions, striving to give their kids a better future through education.
Despite their sacrifices, many farm worker families struggle to afford essential school supplies and healthy foods. Without these, their children face obstacles that hinder their academic success and keep them trapped in the cycle of poverty.
Lacking the basic tools to learn often discourages the children of farm workers which in return leads them to work the fields with their parents, which breaks their parents hearts as they work so hard to keep their kids in school so that they do not have to face the harsh conditions of working the fields.
We are launching our 4th Annual "Back to School Drive for Kids of Farmworkers" to provide children with the school supplies and groceries they need to thrive. Your support is crucial to making this happen. If you believe in the power of education, please help these kids achieve their dreams. Together we can change so many lives.
These children have dreams of becoming doctors, teachers, and leaders in our community. By supporting this drive, you are not only providing them with school supplies but also hope and the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to provide 2,500 children of farm workers with a backpack, school supplies, and groceries.
