A collaboration between The Art and Wilderness Institute and Sage Steward Farm

Help The Art and Wilderness Institute, a registered nonprofit, launch an Islamic Nature and Art Education Program at Sage Steward Farm — a 770-acre oceanfront educational farm, ranch & woodland- just one hour south of San Francisco.

This initiative brings faith-rooted environmental education, art, and land stewardship into immersive retreat and farm experiences, creating opportunities for youth, families, and leaders to reconnect with nature through an Islamic lens.

Since 2019, The Art and Wilderness Institute has delivered award-winning environmental education for children and communities. Through this collaboration, AWI will design curriculum, train educators, and lead programs at Sage Steward Farm.
