Let’s Turn Awareness Into Action — Support Our Fundraiser!
April is World Autism Awareness month, but the truth is for many of us, it’s not just a day or a month. At the Jewish Autism Network, this is our life. Every day.
Our founder, Simcha Weinstein, started this grassroots network when the system failed to provide the services and supports his own family needed. As a father, advocate, and proud "Dad vocate," he teamed up with families across New York State and beyond to create something better, more equitable, and family driven.
Since then, the Jewish Autism Network has grown into a powerful, community led movement. Our work includes
- Free gobal support groups, discussion circles and trainings facilitated with autistic life coach Mathew Lawrence.
- Education & advocay initiatives; publishing widely read op-eds in advocacy and behavioral health outlets.
- Regional partner of New York State’s new IDDO Ombudsman Program, making sure families have real oversight and a voice in future policies and programs.
This April, we’re not just raising awareness. We’re raising funds and hope to keep this work going.
Our goal is to raise $18,000 to sustain and expand our family driven, self advocate led programming.
Every dollar helps us provide real support not just this month, but every month.
Because awareness is only the start. Equity, inclusion, and belonging that’s the goal.
If you believe in this mission, if you believe in creating spaces where autistic people and their families are seen, heard, and supported, we need your help.
Donate today and help us reach our $18,000 goal.
Together, we can keep building a future where every family, every autistic person, and every community has the support they deserve.
