Goal
Thank you for your support! ATX Abilities, the Adaptive Sports & Inclusion Division of ME Arts a 501(c)(3) organization based in Austin TX, has an ambitious target of $60,000 to be raised. Your donations will further support our team mission of keeping our athletes and members health conscious, active, and successful by focusing on the strengths of their abilities. We will also continue to do our part to help increase awareness in the community and to call for continued support of individuals with disabilities. This fundraiser will generally cover our wheelchair basketball section of ATX Abilities, which depends on donations for practice space, league memberships, and travel costs to tournaments and events across the country.
Founded in 2017, ATX Abilities offers adaptive physical education for persons with physical limitations, as we believe that our school systems are not equipped to offer this type of program. As our program has developed over the past years, we have seen the positive effects of bringing people of all abilities together with much success producing 7 NCAA scholarship athletes since founded, and we look forward to new levels of inclusion, awareness and success. Two seasons ago
