Apples to Zucchini Cooking School
In our hands-on classes, we cook together, eat together and clean up together. Kids, teens and adults learn how to choose and prepare delicious, nutritious, affordable meals. We highlight local and seasonal produce and economical pantry staples to create meals that our students devour. Some class favorites are vegan walnut chorizo in lettuce cups, rainbow rice bowls with spicy sesame sauce, seasonal vegetable pizza, and zoodles with fresh tomato sauce.
We teach classes in afterschool programs and in partnership with nonprofits that work with children, teens and families.
