Goal
Setting off from Portugal in December 2023, Team Oar Blimey will independently and unsupported row across the Atlantic Ocean to Sint Maarten in the Caribbean.
To keep the boat moving 24/7, Oar Blimey will take alternating turns at rowing for 2-hours, then resting for 2-hours.
Blisters, salt rashes and sleep deprivation will be the norm for this challenge and every ounce of physical and mental endurance will be required to complete it within 3 months.

Congratulations Russ & George for pushing yourselves physically and mentally in the epic challenge you have just completed. The charities you have raised money and awareness for are so deserving. Each day with bated breath we waited for your updates. George you must write a book. You have a gift for telling a story. Glad to have you both safely back, to be well and truly spoilt by your amazing family who have supported you both in this adventure. How do you come back down to earth after this?

Magnificent achievement George and Russ.....absolutely 'oarsome'!! We attended the dinner at Kelham and to be honest thought you were crazy, but you were so positive. You have smashed it and pleased to donate to such a worthy cause and fantastic effort. Well done 👏 Rod & Sandra Fry
