Dignity. Health. Mobility.

ARM was founded on a simple premise; that if you don't look different, you won't be treated differently.

Working in our community has been a passion of our founders since college. What started off as running pb+j's to the train station now encompasses a registered charity offering Community Supported Dinners, Haircuts for the Homeless, emergency shelter staffing, and more!

The Crown Jewel of this movement is our Mobile Hygiene Unit (MHU). Outfitted with showers, bathrooms, and plenty of room for care packs and supplies, the MHU can empower and restore dignity to those who could use some help.

Life is tough, it's even tougher when you haven't had a shower.

Together, with your support, ARM can continue to innovate onwards towards helping people more and fostering "Dignity, Community, and Opportunity."

Warmest Regards,

The ARM Team

Hello! We love your organization's mission. We are students from Rutgers University who raised money for your hygiene kits! We focused our project on community health and your mission gave us the means to do so. Thank you! - Serena, Freyja, Abdul, Cassandra

Health Recovery Solutions

On behalf of Jon Kijne, Sr. Manager Client Strategy at Health Recovery Solutions | Archangel Raphael's Mission (ARM) is a nonprofit founded in 2014 by a couple of close friends of mine from college. ARM expands health and hygiene access to impoverished communities around New Brunswick and Jersey City, NJ, by providing family-style community meals, haircuts, packages of basic supplies, and access to mobile shower units. The free provision of these often-overlooked necessities helps restore dignity to those who might have lost it, so that they can more readily pursue greater opportunities. It is an honor for me to be recognized as an HRS Ambassador, as I deeply value the HRS mission of expanding access to high-quality healthcare while simultaneously increasing clinical teams’ efficiency and capacity to care for our most vulnerable citizens. I am grateful to work with such passionate and talented colleagues and clients across the country to develop innovative care programs. There is an underlying premise of increasing access to critical services for those in need which HRS and ARM are each built on, and I appreciate HRS taking this opportunity to donate to a similarly-driven mission which is making a wonderfully positive impact on a more local level.

Happened across the article about the mobile shower unit. Absolutely amazing that such a thing exists. I wanted to do my part and help. Any of us could end up in such a situation at any time. God bless you for what you do!!! Keep up this great service you're providing.
