Arizona Veterans Helping Veterans
Arizona Veterans Helping Veterans (AZVHV) is a non-profit organization that is committed to reintegrating veterans back into society once their service is ended, and to help mitigate veteran suicide. Many service members deal with unique stresses that most people never have to endure. Unfortunately, this causes many veterans to feel isolated. Reentering society can feel overwhelming after being told every day when, where, what, and how to do almost every aspect of one’s life. AZVHV is dedicated to helping veterans through those difficult moments.
We believe that effective reintegration and suicide prevention can only happen with veterans and civilians, working in solidarity. By cooperating with local businesses and creating a pool of resources for veterans, AZVHV is helping to bridge the gap between military life and civilian life. We would like to ask that you become one of our 2018 Sponsors. As a sponsor, you will receive positive media attention from your association with AZVHV, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. In addition, you will help mitigate veteran suicide and promote healthy life habits for our veterans.
With the help of AZVHV sponsors, partners, and volunteers, veterans will be able to organize their own community outreach events to help fight veteran suicide, as well as help themselves at the same time. AZVHV effectively promotes positive operations that will help strengthen veterans resolve to “keep up the good fight”. AZVHV fights veteran suicide and helps veterans reintegrate to society by giving them an active role and responsibility within their communities.
“Mitigating veteran suicide isn’t going to happen overnight, and it’s not going to happen in cloistered, smoke filled buildings, or parades. We have to work in solidarity—veterans and civilians—with no less determination than our fight against terror.”
—James Eyler, president AZVHV
