Goal

The Antiracist Curriculum Project is a project aiming to support educators in learning and incorporating culturally responsive, standards-aligned curriculum and pedagogy in schools focused on helping K-12 students and community members explore our local history from enslavement to redlining and the ways people of color and their allies have always worked to build a more just and equitable community.

To dismantle the incredible disparities Rochester faces in regard to homeownership, income, child poverty, and healthcare we need to understand how we got here and

see ourselves in the stories of everyday Rochesterians carrying on the legacy of working for racial equity.  Over the last three years Antiracist Curriculum Project, under the leadership of two local educators Kesha James and Shane Wiegand has proven successful in training thousands of local teachers across 18 local districts and schools in Buffalo, Syracuse, Binghamton, Ithaca, and Corning in teaching this history. You can learn more about our incredible impact by accessing our presentation at https://www.tinyurl.com/acprocimpact

We are committed to raising $50,000 per year for the next three years to support our carefully designed expansion program.
