For nearly 60 years, the Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation, Inc. (TPHF) has brought history to life through the iconic TEXAS Outdoor Musical Drama. Staged in the breathtaking Pioneer Amphitheatre deep within Palo Duro Canyon, TEXAS celebrates the spirit, struggles, and triumphs of early Texas Panhandle settlers. Each summer, tens of thousands of visitors experience the magic of live theater under the vast West Texas sky, forging a deep connection to our region’s heritage.
As a nonprofit organization, TPHF depends on the generosity of donors like you to continue our mission of preserving and sharing Texas history and culture through world-class performances. Your support ensures that TEXAS remains a vibrant and accessible cultural tradition, providing educational opportunities for young performers, cast members, and crew—many of whom come from our valued partnership with West Texas A&M University. With rising production costs and the need to modernize our facilities, your donation helps us sustain this beloved production for future generations.
By giving to TPHF, you play a vital role in keeping history alive and making live theater accessible to all. Together, we can ensure that TEXAS continues to inspire, educate, and entertain for another 60 years and beyond.
Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation is a 501c3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.
