ANIKAYA Birds Intensive Scholarship Fund

This fundraiser is to provide scholarships for artists from areas of the world where the ability to buy a plane ticket or travel abroad is particularly economically and socially challenging. Your donation will go directly towards funding these scholarships so recipients can join the upcoming ANIKAYA workshop in Cotonou, Benin, June 13-23.

ANIKAYA’s workshops are gatherings of lateral collaboration and dance diplomacy created through the meeting of artists from various parts of the world for a moment in time. While these workshops are short intensives, we feel that all of the participants (ourselves included) are forever changed by the encounter. We in turn each carry the experience of gathering, exchange, interdependence, kinesthetic empathy and diplomacy back to our home communities where we pass the energy and insights gained along to others.
