Help Fiona, Owain and Andrew Buy, Drive and Deliver a Life-Saving Evacuation Vehicle to Ukraine 🇺🇦

This July, three friends, Fiona Molnar, Owain Davies and Andrew Kinsey will drive 1,318 miles over 3 days across Europe to deliver an evacuation 4x4 vehicle to Ukraine, where it will be donated for work on the Ukrainian frontlines.

For Owain, this will be his second trip and he will be accompanied by his trusty trombone! Playing along the way to earn more donations. Alongside him Andrew, first time out, will be singing for his supper to the words of the Ukrainian National Anthem whilst Fi now on her 4th convoy, will attempt to learn the Ukrainian National Anthem in some musical form to support this July’s  Driving Ukraine Convoy  and they now need your support to buy, drive and deliver this much needed vehicle.

If you want to just make a straight donation, please do so and if it’s over £250, don’t forget to gift aid it to get us 25% more.

…but for those of you that wish to make us earn your money (other than driving for three days!) then why not make a donation here to have your chosen song played by Owain along the way - £75 will get your song played first,  £150 will mean he'll play it in each country we drive through - that's France, Belgium, Holland, Germany and Poland!  But for that one person who wants their song played on the Ukrainian border - put in your donation marked Ukrainian Boarder Song and the highest amount will see Owain standing proudly by the border sign, belting out your tune!

Don’t forget to state your song when donating

The urgent need for international support in Ukraine is undeniable, even as some sort of peace is discussed. The longer the invasion persists, the more challenging it becomes for Ukraine. The toll of the conflict is staggering. Since 24 February 2022, tens of thousands of civilians have been killed by aerial attacks. Over 1,000 medical facilities have been destroyed. Every nine minutes, there is an attempted evacuation of the wounded from the front lines.

Vehicles, aid, and international support are more necessary than ever before.

Driving Ukraine deploys 4x4 vehicles to:

  • CASEvac (Casualty-evacuation) teams
  • First aid responders
  • Air defence teams
  • Humanitarian bomb disposal
  • Hospitals and emergency services

These teams work under constant threat. Without vehicles, they simply cannot operate.

Your donation will turn into real vehicles, in real places, saving real lives.

The Goal = £7,000 - NOW COMPLETE. THANK YOU !

The stretch Goal = £12,000

The £7,000 has covered:

  • Purchasing the Evac-vehicle

  • Prep in the UK & modification in Ukraine (camo paint if necessary)

  • Fuel and transport across Europe

With the stretch goal of £12,000 we want to additionally:

  • Sponsor a drone detector for our vehicle (explained below)

  • Contribute towards the provision of a UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle).

Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) are becoming an essential part of battlefield evacuations. Today, around 80% of frontline evacuations involve UGV support.

A UGV is pictured below, a high-capacity, off-road, remote-controlled evacuation pod.

These vehicles can enter areas that are too dangerous for people, allowing wounded soldiers to be evacuated while reducing the risk to medics and rescue teams.

Stretch Goal: Drone detecting technology.

FPV drones are currently the deadliest threat to medics and evacuation teams. They appear without warning. One strike can turn a rescue into a tragedy. Early warning is everything: extra time to stop, disperse, or take cover.

Additional funds over the goal will equip this vehicle with a Chuyka / Чуйка 3.0 drone signal detector, giving crews precious seconds to stop, disperse, and take cover.

The Чуйка 3.0 is a compact, battle-ready FPV video-signal detector that detects drone signals. It displays enemy drone video feeds. It’s portable, simple to use under stress, and built for the frontlines - teams can carry, charge and operate it from vehicles, checkpoints, or on foot.
