Eden participants are Guatemalans with intellectual disabilities who work in community wellness via two lines of work: artisanry of wellness products and reforestation - sustainable and flexible work tailored to their skills and interests. They are changing their family + community dynamics, breaking social barriers, and creating personal, social and economic development. You can provide the stable grounding they need to keep growing and making positive social change.
As an anchor for an Eden Retail Entrepreneur, you can provide $50 monthly to cover the costs of snacks, transportation, laundry, and more for each entrepreneur. This reduces costs so that the entrepreneurs' salary can come fully from the sales of their artisanry!
As an anchor for an Eden Earth Steward, you can provide $85 monthly, which cover salaries, transportation to the forest, snacks + water, sun protection + gloves, and laundry services for a month of work for the Eden entrepreneurs!
