We adopted our dog Luger (formerly Lugo) from AmsterDog in April 2016. He was being fostered by a family local to us, near Albany. He was going to be put down b/c he had kennel cough at the NYC shelter.Heartbreaking! Thankfully, you rescued him. He is a thriving 5 yr. old pup who brings us immense joy everyday. He's a big goof ball and love bug, all in one. You do amazing work. Please rescue more on death row.

Just want to say thank you to all of you for your efforts in saving the lives of animals.

We would like to place this donation in honor of our beloved kitty Henry , who gained his wings and left us a week ago today. We would like to thank the shelter for all of their effort in this and also to the must love cats team! We are getting ready to welcome two new family members thanks to them, mowgli/skittles and caterpillar! We can’t wait to start this new adventure with them. It is truly wonderful to see that there are still some people who care❤️
