Goal
It has been four years since Russia’s invasion, and Ukraine remains at war.
We are Ambulances for Ukraine, a humanitarian initiative consisting of a group of caring and brave volunteer-drivers, led by the Andriesse family — two brothers and their father — who decided to take action by partnering with NL4UA in the mission to purchase ambulances for Ukraine.
Our initiative focuses on youth helping Ukraine. While we continue our daily lives in the Netherlands, Ukrainians fight every day for their freedom and their future. We all felt that looking away no longer felt right. That is why we are taking action. We are personally driving ambulances and medical supplies from the Netherlands to Ukraine. Our route takes us via Lviv to Kyiv, where bombs still fall almost every night.
There, we will hand over the ambulances directly to trusted medical partners so they can be deployed immediately to save lives on the front line. Every day, soldiers and civilians die simply because help cannot reach them in time. We are not a large organization. We are ordinary people who believe that you don’t need to be an expert to help — you only need to start, no matter your age. In partnership with the highly professional Netherlands for Ukraine Foundation, we ensure a safe, transparent, and effective mission from start to finish.
Your support enables us to purchase ambulances and medical equipment. Every contribution brings life-saving care directly to where it is needed most.
An ambulance today means a life tomorrow.
