ALL SAINTS WAR MEMORIAL CHURCH, HOKITIKA

Our memorial church has been a place of worship since 1866.  After the wooden building that was first erected met its "use-by" date, it was replaced by a beautiful church that was consecrated as a war memorial church.  

Our climate is quite severe and over time the church has suffered as a consequence.  
We are a small but determined congregation and have decided that our church should undergo a restoration to bring it back to its original glory.  This is a very costly exercise and we are seeking donations that we can use towards this project.  

We have completed the first stage of the restoration which cost just over $600,000.  We are now raising funds for the next stage which has been budgeted at $850,000 (+GST).  As you can imagine this is quite a challenge for us and so far we have managed to raise $100,000 towards our target of $350,000.  When we reach this target, we will be able to apply for a funding grant for the balance.
