PASS TYPES
The CXC projects to spend over $50,000 this winter for snowmaking and grooming. Depending on the type of snow coverage, the CXC offers two pass options:
Regular CXC Trail Ski Pass
(for trails with natural snow coverage)
A Regular CXC Trail Ski Pass is required for each person to ski on the 13 kilometer CXC Trail System from December 1st through March 13th. The pass provides access to the entire groomed CXC Trail, including cross-country ski trails on the Pleasant View Golf Course.
All-Access Snow Pass
(for trails with machine-made and natural snow coverage)
The All-Access Snow Pass provides the same access to the entire groomed CXC Trail, including cross-country ski trails on the Pleasant View Golf Course, and includes access to the snowmaking loop that is groomed and tracked before there is enough natural snow to groom the CXC Trail. An All-Access Snow Pass, or daily pass, is required to ski on the snowmaking loop at any time.
No person may use the CXC Trail System between December 1st and March 13th unless they have purchased a trail ski pass. CXC grants a revocable temporary license to access the CXC Trail System to the named holder of a trail ski pass.
We depend on the revenue from all ski passes to ensure that the CXC Trail system remains the No. 1 cross-country ski destination in Southern Wisconsin. Please make sure every skier in your family has the appropriate ski pass displayed visibly on you at all times while skiing.
WHERE / HOW TO PURCHASE PASSES
Purchase your CXC Trail Pass right from your phone!
• Online at https://center.cxcskiing.org/
• The CXC Office (by appointment)

All annual passes will be mailed within 10-days of purchase. Your purchase receipt will act as your pass in the meantime. Please have your pass displayed visibly on you at all times while skiing. Annual passes are personalized with each skier’s name. Additionally, you can purchase an arm-band ski pass holder at https://cxcstore.myshopify.com/products/ski-pass-holder.
EARLY SEASON SKIING
The machine-made snow loop at the CXC Center will be open on Tuesday, December 13th, 2021. Operating hours are 8 am to 8 pm. Stay tuned for grooming updates!
While the Regular Season CXC Trail Pass is required to ski on the groomed CXC Trail from December through March, the CXC is pleased to offer early season skiing on our machine-made snow loop! If you want to ski on the machine-made snow loop, you must purchase the All-Access Snow Pass. All-Access Snow Passes are required before the greater CXC Trail opens for the season. The added revenue from the All-Access Snow Pass will help to offset the costs of snowmaking efforts and early trail and snow preparation at the venue.
