Aleccia Sutton for Congress

Eastern North Carolina holds a special place in my heart. It is the place where I was born and raised. It is the place where most of my friends and family are based. It is the place that helped mold me into the person I am today. Most importantly, it is the place I call home. Over the years, I have seen my home ravaged by issues that have plagued many here in Eastern North Carolina. Our unemployment rate is higher than both the state’s and the national’s. We’ve had rural hospitals, such as Pungo Hospital, close leaving many without adequate healthcare. We are facing an opioid epidemic and our rural counties are struggling economically.

I can no longer sit back and watch this issues continue to plague my home. Eastern North Carolina does not need representation that will neglect the needs of their constituents in favor of partisan politics and it does not need representation that is not willing to offer solution. Eastern North Carolina needs representation that will fight to bring new, bold, and progressive solutions. That is why I, Aleccia Sutton, am running for Congress in North Carolina’s 3rd congressional district. Support me to bring the solutions Eastern North Carolina needs.
