Every day, animals who have faced neglect, injury, or trauma arrive at Raystede, frightened and unsure of their future. But thanks to people like you, they get the expert care, love and rehabilitation they need to heal. Rising costs mean that we are getting more animals being surrendered to us. Some can no longer afford their animals' care, which means these animals are coming to us needing to be rehabilitated and treated before they can be rehomed. 

Meet Albert, who is one of our most heartwarming transformations.  When Albert arrived at Raystede, he was nervous, underweight and suffering with painful patches of dry skin and sores. Our amazing Kennels Team were on hand and slowly, through gentle rehabilitation, care and plenty of love, he regained his confidence.

And Albert now? He's found his forever home!
