Donations from City National Bank, his wife Phoebe Bledsoe Tieche Herring, his children and grandchildren and other family members and friends were used to establish this memorial fund. Mr. Tieche was a board president of the Bank of Raleigh and administrator of Beckley Hospital. This fund formerly provided income for MSU to award to a West Virginia student and now benefits University of Charleston-Beckley.
