Los Angeles has been going through multiple crises:rising unaffordability of housing, food, bills. While BVCLT works to keep rent and housing as low as possible, with the recent disasters in LA, many of our members are still struggling to pay for their basic necessities.

BVCLT is fundraising to provide direct cash assistance to our members who have been hit hard by overlapping crises—beginning with COVID-19, the LA fires in January 2025, and now ongoing ICE raids that terrorize our communities.

These funds will go directly to families impacted by these events, allowing them to use the support however they need. Many are forced to choose between risking their safety to go to work or going without basic necessities like food.

Please help ease the burden on our working-class families who continue to bear the brunt of every crisis.
