Help displaced families in Lebanon
Hello, my name in Tania Shoukair and I'm based in Amsterdam. My family and I grew up in South Lebanon and have been displaced during the 2006 war. We're very familiar with the difficulties and horrors of displacement, although we were lucky enough to not experience homelessness.
This is why helping displaced families in need is a personal matter for us. My family, and especially my sisters, who are currently in Beirut, are spending everyday buying delivering necessities to Lebanese families using direct action through their network.
It is estimated that there's a million person displaced at the moment. This is the most efficient approach, as NGOs can take too long, and often cannot met personal needs like hypoallergenic baby food and specific medicines.
