Help displaced families in Lebanon

Thank you so much to everyone who donated! This campaign helped us raise €3,330.86

And altogether, with the social media campaigns we ran back in October and November 2024, we've raised around €10,000

I wish I could share every single story of every person you helped, but there are way too many. Your donations secured food, baby formula, clothes, blankets, mattresses, hygiene products, rent, and urgent medical procedures. We are forever grateful <3 

Even though there's been an official ceasefire, many people can not return home as the Israeli military refuses to withdraw from the border towns. Many returned to dust and rubble, and now the rebuilding begins. If you choose to continue donating, please know that we will always find someone in need. Unfortunately, that is the easy part, as there are many. 

We are now working on a subscription campaign where monthly donations will be used as monthly allowances for different families and individuals. If you've chosen a monthly donation when you first donated to our campaign, it will be redirected to that initiative. You will be helping someone(s) as they rebuild their life.

Hello, my name is Tania Shoukair, and I'm based in Amsterdam. My family and I grew up in South Lebanon and have been displaced during the 2006 war. We're very familiar with the difficulties and horrors of displacement, although we were lucky enough to not experience homelessness. 

This is why helping displaced families in need is a personal matter for us. My family, and especially my sisters, who are currently in Beirut, are spending every day buying and delivering necessities to Lebanese families using direct action through their network.

It is estimated that there are a million people displaced at the moment. This is the most efficient approach, as NGOs can take too long, and often cannot meet personal needs like hypoallergenic baby food and specific medicines.
