About Al Haadiyah Harrogate

Al Haadiyah Harrogate is a grassroots charity, working with BAME and refugee children in Harrogate, North Yorkshire in order for them become leaders of the future. Our Sunday school project aims to provide educational support to children for their spiritual and moral needs. As Harrogate lacks a mosque or a community space this leaves families and their children without suitable learning environment. Recognizing this gap, we established Al Haadiyah Harrogate in June 2023. So far we have successfully enrolled over 65 children aged 6 to 16, creating a vital space for their spiritual and cultural growth on the correct Aqeedah. Your support can help us continue this impactful journey.

How your generous support will help us

Your generosity directly empowers the lives of these young leaders by funding specialised volunteer teacher expenses who have to to come from outside of Harrogate in order to provide classes for the attendees of of the Sunday school. Local parent volunteers will shadow them, ensuring a seamless transition over the next 2-3 years to make our fundraising efforts achieve a sustainable outcome. Excess funds will sponsor places and resources for children facing financial challenges. Your contribution ensures no child from our community is deprived of the opportunity to learn!
