Agriculture Fairness Alliance is a United States Vegan Lobbying group who hires lobbyists to drive systemic change to the food system. AFA is dedicated to ending subsidies and bailouts to animal agriculture and enacting legislation that will transition animal farmers to non-exploitative and sustainable businesses. We also focus on plant based food accessibility, ensuring BIPOC & women farmers have prioritized access to government has so often left them out and reducing the fail proof policies that prevent reductions in livestock production.
With that, we are heading into Farm Bill season and we, as a movement need to do everything we can to change it! There is no other Food Policy more urgent.
This Farm Bill sets the stage to how our taxes will be used either towards or against plant based foods for the next 10-15 years. Which means if we don't make changes we either set the stage for our planet to go to the point of no return or we can actually have a shot to begin to heal.
