Help us fight for transgender equity and justice!

Transgender youth, young adults, and their families deserve to live without fear of discriminatory legislation.

State legislative process often treats transgender youth with policies in search of a problem rather than understanding that laws are being proposed and created that affect real people. The Transformation Project Advocacy Network (TPAN) will share the stories of the transgender community in South Dakota so that state legislators and other elected officials can see transgender youth, young adults, and their families as real people that are an important part of the fabric of South Dakota, as opposed to being an “issue" that needs to be solved.

TPAN seeks to build healthy working relationships with legislators so that they can hear these stories firsthand and take action to support transgender communities rather than cause unnecessary harm. TPAN also proactively connects legislators with educational resources so that when they encounter potentially harmful bills, they will already understand the challenges facing transgender communities and take appropriate action to defend against discriminatory and hateful legislation becoming law.

Your support makes it possible for TPAN to not only do this important work, but also empower and activate transgender communities to confidently share their stories, take action, and make a difference.

Together, we can build communities where no transgender person must fear for their health, safety, or well-being. Be the difference and donate today!

(Note: TPAN is a 501c4 nonprofit organization and donations are not tax-deductible. If you have any questions, please contact us.)

Your contribution will support The Transformation Project Advocacy Network's advocacy and policy efforts for transgender equity and justice. Your gift is not restricted for use for any particular project or in any state.
