Advent Appeal 2024

Now more than ever, we need a strong movement behind the call for tax justice. Together, we need to be prepared for the opportunities that 2025 will bring to build a fairer tax system, both at home and globally.  

We are currently running a match-funded Advent Appeal. Will you support our efforts to seek a more just world? 

Countries are currently losing US$492 billion in tax a year to multinational corporations and wealthy individuals using tax havens to underpay tax. In the UK, inequality is deepening. This needs to change. 

A fairer tax system has the power to reduce inequality, fund much-needed public services and build a safer, greener future for everyone. But we need support to continue our campaigning for such a future.  

Your donation can have double the impact. Support from the Stockwell Trust means that your donation to this Advent Appeal will be doubled, up to a total of £6000.  

Your support will strengthen the movement for tax justice. By helping us raise £6000, together we’ll be able to:   

• bolster our campaigning for taxes on wealth and measures to tackle tax abuse in the UK and internationally 
  
  
• build stronger relationships with supportive allies within and beyond the churches for tax justice  
  
  
• equip more of you to talk to your MPs about fairer taxes  
  
  
• provide training for our network of JustMoney Champions, working within congregations and communities to mobilise more people to take action
