Our mission is to provide leadership skills development programs for schools located in underserved communities that will positively impact today's youth and tomorrow's leaders.
Our vision is to improve and balance leadership opportunities for all children in the United States.
Our relationships with community leaders and community-based organizations are what we value the most. We depend on their insights to develop sustainable solutions anchored by our mission, vision, and values.
Over 95% of donations will go directly to our Adopt-A-School Project.
Our history began on August 7, 2018 when Sergeant Major Mario P. Fields United States Marine Corps (Retired) founded Still Serving, Inc. to connect communities to military veterans through public speaking. Still Serving, Inc.'s first Secretary, Sean Travis, recommended the corporation provide speakers and mentors to support Innovation Early College High School: a new partnership between Pitt County Schools and East Carolina University that focused on underserved students. Mario quickly realized there was a significant need, throughout the United States, for all students to be afforded leadership skills development opportunities. Mario developed the Adopt-A-School Project and Still Serving, Inc.'s Board of Directors officially approved it on April 25, 2019.
