You are truly amazing people, we watched the documentary on BBC2 with tears of sadness that these wonderful animals are killed but also with tears of joy seeing the chimps having such fun & enjoying their new lives with you and your team. I lived as a child in Harbel, on the Firestone plantation, going to Snafu beach and, after school, at the swimming pool at the Farmington Hotel.. that was in the late 60's. I returned a few times in the early 70's.I remember as a child seeing a baby chimp chained and told not to go close to it as it would cling onto me... how sad to think 50 years on and only now something is being done. You're doing an amazing job and would love to visit when the sanctuary is built.
