I am a artist here in Roebuck SC and got asked if I like to be part of a benefit event. I needed to paint something and found Glorias picture online. I fell in love with her eyes and started painting her. At the event it got auctioned of for a good cause. The Family who got the painting told me their story about the son they lost 4 years ago of drowning. He had a pet monkey (stuffed animal ) and my painting reminded them on him ( Christopher) It is strange sometimes how things happen and why I found her and painted her. I read the story from Gloria and was so touched, I told myself, If I sell the painting I will adopt her. Here I am a week later do so. Thanks for all your work. You are awesome people. Thanks for helping those cute animals. And If I do this event again, I will remember you. <3

You are doing amazing work! I'll never forget holding orphaned chimps 30yrs ago when going down the Congo and seeing them in bird-cages at the market. Heartbreaking.
