Adam Marks Memorial Fund

YASU is honored to announce the launch of the Adam Marks Memorial Fund. Adam was an internationally renowned pianist, educator, writer, editor, all-around excellent human being, and a long-time advocate and volunteer for the young adult cancer community. Adam passed away suddenly of a silent heart attack in 2021 at the age of 42.

In an effort to honor his legacy, we're establishing this grant which will be open to young adults nationwide with priority given to those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Funds will go towards living expenses such as rent or mortgage payments, or utility expenses, medical bills, fertility expenses, education expenses, integrative oncology services, or basic needs assistance through gas or grocery cards.
