^{The Ada Vista Elementary PTO exists to}^{strengthen, enrich and encourage the educational experience at Ada Vista Elementary. Its goals are to compliment the school curriculum, build community and foster relationships among students,}^{families, teachers and staff.}

^{This school year the PTO funds were able to support teachers with $1000 each ($27K total) for classroom needs, purchase and install a playground structure and musical feature, provide meals for the staff, pay for an extra aide (our wonderful Sr. Osario) so that he can be on staff all year and maintain numerous additional}^{educational supports for our kids.}

^{Please help us build up our funds so that we can pay it forward in this next school year and be prepared for both projected and unexpected needs (and hopefully field trips and other enrichment activities!).}^{Your generosity in the past has been more than incredible, you've helped make amazing things happen!}

^{CAMINATA FIELD DAY is May 27, 2021}

^{We are excited to be able to host a playground, field day version* of Caminata on Thursday, May 27! Kids will be participating in an obstacle-course (complete with large inflatables) throughout the school day with their teachers and classes. A big thank you to Sr. daSilva for helping us organize! We're sorry that parents cannot participate this year, we promise to send lots of}^photos!^{Kids are welcome to dress colorfully that day, similar to our Caminata walks in the past. Unfortunately we will not have t-shirts available for Kinder-3rd grade this year, but they can still dress fun and colorfully!!! (Parents, keep in mind that loose items, large accessories and wigs may not be worn in the inflatables).}

^{*Virtual students have a special time to participate after school, separate communication is being sent.}

^{FAMILY SIGNS}

^Tra^{ditionally families have been able to make a donation to provide a fun, encouraging sign for their children that is displayed during the Caminata walk (though any/every donation helps, and you don't have to get a sign!)}

^{This year for a suggested donation of $75, or a monthly donation of $5 (or more), you will be able to make a large yard sign for your kids that we'll put on the playground and you get to keep!}

^{Let's flood the}^{school grounds with signs!! You will be directed to the link to order the sign after you check out (and the same sign order link will also be in the receipt, on our website and is posted below).}^{Sign forms must be turned in by each family by the end of Tuesday, May 18.}
