The Ad Astra Trail Collective was created to advocate, assist, and facilitate the development of outdoor recreation opportunities across Southeast Kansas and beyond. Our vision is to leave no trail undiscovered. These trails include the relationships and partnerships that connect our communities and create value. We believe that our natural resources are the best way for rural communities to distinguish themselves in a way that no other community can duplicate. It's what makes each rural town unique and special.

The Ad Astra Trail Collective supports the Indy Trails, an interconnected trail system that brings the beauty of Independence, Kansas to life. Whether you’re seeking a serene walk through nature, a scenic bike ride, or a family-friendly outdoor adventure, Indy Trails provide the perfect setting for every type of explorer. 

Funds donated to AATC go towards maintenance of existing trails, trail advocacy, and more!
