LMNA Cardiac Donations

Our beloved husband, daddy and Daddy Pat met our Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 14. Patrick Marek had the LMNA genetic heart mutation which led to a heart transplant in November 2013. He was one of the first 100 heart transplants at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center. Information regarding this gene mutation is ongoing and research is crucial to helping those that are diagnosed with this mutation. Pat's daughter, son and 4 granddaughters have all tested positive for the LMNA Gene mutation and your donation can further research, possible gene therapy and future medications that can help stop the effects this mutation has on the heart.
