Giving Tuesday Matching Gift Offer

We are blessed to receive an extraordinary offer by anonymous donors to match up to 25,000€ of special giving from 29 November (Giving Tuesday) until the end of 2022.

The ACP community has worked, through increased giving and spending restraint, to successfully stay on budget throughout 2022. However, as our matching donors have so rightly stated: “In the last three years of budget austerity, many ACP ministries were pulled back.” The hope of the donors in offering this matching gift is to encourage additional giving by those who are able and to double the impact of that giving. Every euro given toward this offer will mean a 2 euro boost to our 2023 budget and provide support for areas that we have not been able to fund in recent years.

If fully funded, this offer would allow us to add 50,000€ to our church programs in 2023. The following key areas in our Children’s, Youth, and Young Adult ministries and our digital and missional engagement programs will benefit from this wonderful gift:

A screen and projector in the catacombs for children’s, youth, and young adult classes
Youth ministry mission engagement work, the AICEME conference, and other opportunities for Christian growth
Young adult gatherings to reach out to this important group of exploring Christians in our congregation and neighborhood
Part-time staff hire to support our volunteer AV and digital engagement ministry team, enhancing the in-house and online experience of our congregation through improved use of our new sound, lighting and live-streaming equipment for worship services, concerts, and weddings
A new camera for the communications team to provide more consistent photo-capture of church events and enhance ACP’s sharing of our activities in digital media
Launch of a new mission engagement program to provide hot meals to refugees with monthly dinners and gradually increasing in frequency during the year
Launch of a “Beta” engagement program of continued Christian growth for individuals who have already completed the Alpha program
