Community Oversight Board

Accountability Matters is a political action committee established by Community Oversight Now. Its sole purpose is to raise funds to support the passage of Amendment 1 in the November 6, 2018 election in Nashville-Davidson County, Tennessee. The referendum amendment seeks to create a Community Oversight Board (COB) to address police accountability and review criminal justice policies.

Accountability Matters is a single-measure committee (also known as a political action committee) registered with the Davidson County Election Commission in accordance with the Tennessee Registry of Election Finance.
