Goal

At Accessible Arts Merced, our mission is to create inclusive and supportive environments where individuals of all abilities and from all walks of life can explore, create, and thrive in the arts. We believe that the performing arts should be accessible to everyone.

Our programs are designed to break down barriers and open doors to artistic expression for all members of our community. From workshops and performances, to collaborative projects and educational endeavors, Accessible Arts Merced aims to offer enriching experiences that inspire and engage the Central Valley. It is important for us to show how the performing arts are integral in the acquisition of so many life and social skills. We are dedicated to providing more easily available artistic opportunities to the public and building a community that celebrates diversity, empowers creativity, and promotes personal growth. We aspire to be a living example of how the arts can be, should be, and must be for all.

Part of making our programs more accessible is keeping our services low-cost. We want to build a scholarship fund to ensure that there are no financial barriers to accessing all that the performing arts have to offer. By donating to Accessible Arts Merced, you can help us realize our dreams of building an ever-growing theatre community.
