Why Support Me?

I just got home from the wildest six months of my life, doing a Discipleship Training School with a missions organization called YWAM, at a base on the west coast of Norway. As a part of my school, I spent ten weeks on mission in Japan, during which time, I specifically felt the Lord inviting me to return to Norway to serve in missions until 2027.

YWAM (Youth With A Mission) is a global missions movement, founded in the 1960s. Today, they have hundreds of bases and thousands of volunteers worldwide.

The mission is twofold:

1. TO KNOW GOD

2. TO MAKE GOD KNOWN

This August, I am moving back to Norway, which I will call my home until 2027. I will serve in missions as a YWAM staff member, and get to be a small part of the larger mission of YWAM Ålesund, of YWAM, and overall, the Kingdom of God.

I sense that this is just the beginning of an exciting new season which the Lord is inviting me into; not only to grow more personally in my faith, but also to be a part of his work in the lives of others.

However, this is not something that I can do alone!

All YWAM missionaries are unpaid, meaning that I will rely on the support of the Body and the provision of the Lord for all my financial needs. One of YWAM’s fundamental values is to rely on the Lord’s provision in all areas, specifically finances.

As staff I will have financial obligations, such as room and board, which I will have to pay monthly, as well as expenses such as plane tickets, food and travel.

And so this is where I invite YOU to join in this mission, to come alongside what the Lord is doing in my life, in YWAM Ålesund, in Norway and in the nations!

Would you prayerfully consider becoming a financial supporter, to partner with me in this mission the Lord has put on my heart?

My goal is to raise $800 in MONTHLY support, or an approximate total of around $20,000.

This will cover my daily/monthly living expenses, along with cost of travel. Along with fundraising this summer, I also will be working as a waitress to help cover the expenses.
