Hello, my name is Lamia, a mother from Gaza, and this is the story of my daughter, Faten.

Only one month before the war began, I was married. I was living a peaceful and beautiful life surrounded by family, love, and dreams for the future. But in a single moment, war destroyed everything I knew.

I lost my brothers. I survived death twice after being pulled from beneath the rubble of bombed buildings. Although I survived, my heart has carried unbearable pain ever since—pain from loss, displacement, fear, and hunger.

Amid this devastation, I gave birth to my daughter, Faten. She became my only remaining light and hope in this dark world. But Faten was born prematurely and suffers from severe breathing problems and bronchial constriction. She struggles to breathe every single day.

Like many children in Gaza, my baby has also suffered from famine and malnutrition. The harsh living conditions, lack of medical care, and shortage of food and medicine continue to make her condition worse.

My daughter urgently needs continuous medical treatment, proper nutrition, and respiratory medications to survive. As her mother, it breaks my heart to watch her suffer while feeling powerless to help her.

Today, I am reaching out with all the strength I have left, asking for your compassion and support. Any donation—big or small—can help provide my daughter with the medicine, food, and care she desperately needs.

Your kindness could save Faten’s life and give us hope again.

Thank you for standing with us in our darkest time.
