A ger and a giyoress marrying in Yesushalayim
A GER AND A GIYORESS ARE GETTING MARRIED IN YERUSHALYIM.
WHO'S GOING TO HELP THEM?
NO PARENTS. NO GRANDPARENTS. NO UNCLES. NO BROTHERS. NO SISTERS. NO COUSINS.
R’ Yehoshua Michoel Goldberg was m’geier three years ago in the Bais Din of Melbourne. At the time of his geirus he was married as a non-Jew and had one child. He and his wife had been keeping mitzvos for two years, his wife was wearing a sheitl, and the child was in a proper, Yiddische cheder. The plan was that he and his wife would convert together.
Hashem had other plans.
The day before the geirus, Yehoshua’s wife told him that she could not go forward with the geirus. Yehoshua remained steadfast in his commitment to the Emmes and left everyone and everything לחסות תחת כנפי השכינה.
While in Australia Yehoshua became connected to chassidim of כ״ק the Biala Rebbe of Lugano, Shlit”a, eventually becoming close to the Rebbe, himself. In 2017, Yehoshua came to Lakewood and became connected to HaRav Chaim Mintz, Shlit”a. He also created a relationship with HaRav Simcha Bunim Cohen, Shlit”a.
This past Kislev, under the guidance of the Biala Rebbe, Yehoshua came to Eretz Yisroel. A shidduch was made with a giyoress from Canada, and IY”H, the wedding will be 25 Adar II. The Rebbe, Shlit”a will be m’sader kiddushin.
After the engagement, on the advice of daas Torah, Yehoshua changed his name from Yehoshua Michoel Yarden to Yehoshua Michoel Goldberg.
Needless to say, Yehoshua and the kallah having no connection to their biological parents or any family at all are in need of great financial support as they move into the next stage of their lives and begin to build a Jewish home. Please help to ensure that they get off on a solid footing by giving generously to this worthy cause.
Following are letters of approbation from The Biala Rebbe and Rav Simcha Bunim Cohen.
