This fund was established when we learned that our dream of moving our retreats further into the jungle would not come to pass due to land ownership issues. Although Supaychacra, our current camp, is closer to the village than we would like, it has been serving the role of retreat center and place of learning and healing for many years.
The time has come to express our gratitude to this special place and to take care of our current home in the rainforest rather than to leave it behind in search of greener pastures elsewhere. This feels right.
The purpose of this fund will be to Build a new temple structure, improve the sanitary facilities and water storage capabilities and to maintain the existing buildings, benches and boardwalks in a safe and good working order. We also want to continue to cultivate many of the native healing and medicinal plants on site to ensure a sustainable source for the the healing and educational work we do here.
