Goal
Millet is all smiles, and with good reason - she is finally all healed up from not one, but TWO leg surgeries(!!) and is excited to finally find her forever home! Millet came to Labs and More several months ago with a torn ligament in one of her legs. She was able to get surgery and recovered comfortably in a loving foster home, but shortly after she was healed it was found she had a torn ligament in her other leg! It's been a long road to recovery but Millet is now ready to start the next chapter in her life - could that be with you?
Millet is about 5-6 years old and looks to be a mix of several breeds, possibly Lab and Anatolian Shepherd, among others. She is a sweet and happy girl and loves being with her people. She is a low to medium energy dog and is a true homebody. Her ideal day would consist of hanging out with her humans at home, playing with her toys, napping, and stepping out for a few short walks around the neighborhood. She is a talkative girl that will barks to let her opinion be heard, so she may not be suited for apartment living or neighborhoods with noise restrictions. She gets along with other dogs but doesn't need a dog sibling to be happy as she prefers the company of humans. She currently coexists with dog savvy cats in her foster home.
Helping dog likes Millet receive the surgical care they need is #whywerun at the #MuttRun, our annual 5K fundraiser.
Join us for a fun day at Road Runner Sports filled with a 5k dog walk, costume contest, door prizes, top fundraiser prizes, a beer garden sponsored by Mike Hess Brewing and so much more.
